The central library located on Aramaki campus is general and humanities library which is used mainly by freshman of gunma university, students and staffs of the faculty of education and the faculty of social information studies. To support liberal arts education, we collect english books for extensive reading and provide learning support services. In april 2013, we the learning commons "Agora" which supports active learning opened and is extended in april 2014. Rare collections such as Nitta collections known by cat paintings and local Karuta collections are used by many researchers. Please ask questions for university IT enviroment to the staffs of information technology division also working at the library.
