The GU Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides GU students, faculties and staffs with a way to connect securely to the GUNet.
This SSL VPN connection works from almost anywhere including from home, from many hotels.
The VPN allows users to connect to resources such as library databases and eJournals that may require a computer to use an GU campus ip address in order to gain access. Additionally, the VPN connection enables connection to some restricted services which requires GU campus ip address. (e.g. campus internal web sites)
SSL-VPN service is averable for GU students, faculties and staffs who are finished learing GU cyberethics course and passed final exam in the course. Also, university IT account is required.
